Our projects involve in-depth Conversation Analysis to enhance natural conversational experiences for users of Conversational User Interfaces (CUI). We offer training in Conversation Analytic approaches to Conversation Design.
Although user interfaces are by definition interactive, they are not necessarily intuitive to use as interactional technologies.
We believe that this can only be achieved if they are built on the foundations of human social interaction. For this, design teams need to turn to the social sciences, and in particular that field of research that seeks to understand what the building blocks are of social interaction, Conversation Analysis.
